F.R.I.E.N.D.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Fuhhh...bersarang dah blog neh...almost two years i have ignored my beloved blog haha...suddenly i decided to make some major changes in this blog...which is now i shared with my bestie :)

Yea...this was inspired by someone, nevertheless i still think it's a good idea to share my blog with her. Few months have gone and i am supposed to struggling with my thesis now when suddenly the idea struck me. Erm..maybe i will just write a short post for now :)

Alhamdulillah....me and my bestie have made some major changes in our lives inshaa Allah with Allah's guidance and hidayah (if Allah's will) we tried our best to pick what we have left few years before. Somebody said my changes are too drastic, well actually I have started my baby steps few years ago by scanning through religious books and listening to religious talk on the radio (specifically IKIM.fm). I just don't have that guts and confidence to do it. I just go with the flow and do whatever i 'THINK' right.

To make it short, i slowly gained my confidence when my bestie encouraged me not to think of others much and she was quite in the same shoe with me (except that she is better than me). She  always notify me whether i have done something wrong or inappropriate action and usually it goes straight to my heart. She always be my loyal partner for religious classes or talk (which Rasulullah describe as earth paradise). When we read books or reciting Quran we usually share with each other, its like our 'little usrah' together and i am so loving this session with her.  So we hold our hands through obstacles in our  life (exams, family, etc). And i tried my best to be a good friend for her as she is always there to sooth me when i am down until now.

I just wrote this post to share my little story to people who concern and need encouragement to search the right path to meet Allah (inshaa Allah). Me myself still searching and a LOT MORE to be changed. Just remember, an islamic scholar once said that when we SINCERELY decided want to change and seek for Allah's love, Allah will send you soleh/solehah peoples to accompany us. Alhamdulillah my friend are expanding and i hope it will keep expanding throughout my journey to give me strength to istiqamah. May Allah bless our friendship and journey together thus put us with those who Allah give nikmah not the path who get Allah's wrath nor the path who will get lost. Ameen.

First Time Parent

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.....

Assalammualaikum....dear blogger....today i'd like to highlight about parenthood....hehe...i know too early right for some of you guys....but the thing is, bile kite xprepare dari sekarang, bile lagi?? ye x?? Because recently my closest aunt just gave birth to her first child.....and its a boy....the thing about women is we tend to have instinct about parenthood....but sometimes we don't have the strength to do it all....so, this could be hard for 1st time mother....well, i have no intention at all to discriminate gender here because i really hate that....between us women and men, there are no one better than another...we're all the same....

But i am strongly recommend to all my friends out there who's ready to get married, please, do not ever ignore your wife ESPECIALLY when she gave birth to your child no matter its your first time or not....your wife needs you....i know you might still in blur what to do when your baby is crying out so loud, your wife don't know how to breastfeed your child or she still in pain due to baby delivery or she don't have clean clothes to change when in hospital....please....be more flexible and hyper active....if u don't know, find someone who know fast...give your wife full support because you and her are in this situation together...since you are not the one who's gone through all that pain of giving birth, it's the least u can do...

New fathers, your newborn child is a gift from Allah, so love and treasure your baby. But be prepared, fatherhood is a life changing experience and sacrifices have to be made, you will need to adjust your schedule around the child. Parenting in not only in the women's department.

For men, the moment your spouse tells you that there's a little you inside her belly, please, do some research about being a good father and try your best to support her not only throughout the pregnancy period  but during the baby delivering. The assignment not only for the men of course, mothers-to-be are more encouraged to look after herself and the baby. Eating habits is very crucial to give your child best nutrition and producing milk for your own child...maybe a supplement or simple massage can help this....

But most importantly, these are important recitation for pregnant women and the husband himself:
surah Al Fatihah, Luqman, Yasin, Yusuf, Surah An Nahl ayat 78, surah Al A'raf ayat 189 dan ayat Kursi

Dear husband, try to reduce your temper to your pregnant wife, trust me, it'll do good to neither of you...

Hehehe...my post seems a little odd, but i just feel like sharing this to you guys....
May Allah bless all of married couples out there...:)
